Bearkat Families,
We are heartbroken to share that one of our school families experienced a tragic loss early morning around 4:00 a.m. on Monday February 2, 2026. This family, who currently have a child in 5th grade and a child in 1st grade at our school, lost their home and all of their belongings in a house fire.
At this time, there are many unknowns, but what we do know is that the family will need immediate support. While all donations are appreciated, we are currently asking for monetary donations and gift cards so the family can purchase basic necessities as they begin to rebuild.
Let’s come together as a BearKat community and overwhelm this family with love, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
